Jean Nouvel Less Less Table
Created for the Cartier Foundation in Paris, the Less series is the embodiment of Jean Nouvel’s architectural ethos. Disciplined composition, lightweight forms, simplicity, research into materials and the use of technology – always there, but never intrusive – are the core features which make Less an elegant, practical solution. Designed to represent the archetypal table, the Less table is so sleek that it leaves you questioning its solidity – and its very nature. The table is configured as a monolithic structure made entirely of white coated metal. The legs consist of steel bars in L shaped profiles, 8mm thick, while the table top is entirely in folded sheet iron.
